1. Connect WiFi Module to Your Heat Pump

1. Turn off the heat pump.
2. Remove the casing from the hydrobox by unscrewing the two screws at the bottom of the cover.
3. (Optional) Connect the MELCloud WiFi adapter to the adapter in the (EXT) socket.
4. Connect the red cable from the WiFi adapter socket (INT) to the red CN105 socket in your heat pump.
5. Reattach the cover.
6. Turn on the heat pump.

2. Connect WiFi Adapter to the Internet

1. Prepare your phone or PC to configure the device.
2. After turning on the heat pump, the LED on the adapter will turn blue, and the access point "Ecodan Bridge AP" should be visible. Connect your phone to this WiFi network.
3. Once connected, visit http://192.168.4.1 to configure WiFi settings and app credentials.
4. Select your WiFi name from the list or enter it manually, then provide the WiFi password.
5. Below the WiFi settings, you will see the Device ID. Save it for future reference in case of issues.
6. Enter your MQTT username as your MEL Pump App email address and choose a strong password for device integration or leave the auto-generated one. Remember this password or save it somewhere.
7. Click the Save button and wait for the device to restart.
8. When connected to WiFi and MEL Pump App, the LED will turn green.
9. If connected to WiFi but not to MEL Pump App, the LED will turn orange.

3. (Optional) Manually Connect to the App if Not Automatically Connected

1. If your WiFi adapter did not automatically connect to your MEL Pump App account, you need to create the integration manually. Disconnect your phone from the access point and reconnect it to your WiFi network.
2. Open the new integration page in MEL Pump App and select the MEL Pump App / MQTT integration type.
3. Enter the MQTT password you used earlier or choose a new one.
4. Enter the Device ID. If you don’t remember it, visit http://heatpump.local to check the configuration settings. Ensure you are connected to the same WiFi network as the device.
5. Click the Create Integration button and wait up to 5 minutes for the WiFi adapter to attempt reconnection.
6. (Optional) If you used a new password while creating the integration, update this password in the adapter settings at http://heatpump.local.

Additional Information

• If you want to connect WiFi adapter to the HomeAssistant and MEL Pump App in the same time, you have to install different software version on your device. Please see ebay auction description to see more details.
• Single, short press of main button will restart device.
• Press & Hold of main button until LED changes to blue will trigger factory reset
